DijiMaya Project

Our association’s “DijiMaya” project was deemed worthy of support within the scope of the “Future Youth Cultural Industries Support Program” announced by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, General Directorate of Copyrights in 2021.

The overall aim of the project is to develop creative thinking among young people between the ages of 16-29, who constitute the target audience, in the context of creativity-intellectual/industrial property/entrepreneurship; to raise awareness about the relationship between creativity and intellectual and industrial property (design and trademark); to encourage young people by bringing them together with successful entrepreneurs in the field of creative cultural industries in various interactive activities. Our project is equipped with workshops and events where young people can experience the methods and secrets of creativity.

In the DijiMaya Project, IKASI collaborated with two museums that play a very important role in creative cultural industries: Cermodern and Cin Ali Museum. In addition to that, events will be organized in different venues to be determined by the participants and supporters. The duration of our project, which started in May 2022, is 12 months.

Many artists, academics, researchers, lawyers, communicators, designers and experts from different fields of creativity from Türkiye took part in the workshops. Representatives from fine arts and design faculties of major universities in Ankara, fine arts high schools, representatives from different institutions and young people came together in the workshops and events as participants, speakers, moderators, hosts, and media officers.

Information and visuals of all stages of the project are shared on the official website of IKASI and the social media accounts of the project.
